a lone blue dot sends ripples into empty paper. the ripples pass through twelve small worlds that listen back: a jellyfish, a lighthouse, an owl, a rotary phone, fireworks, a waterfall, a rocket, a radio dish, a whale.

they gather into a map, fall quiet, and then a pink dot answers.

how it works

• no colour is ever painted directly. each scene draws ink density into three separations: blue, fluorescent pink and yellow
• every frame is then screened into halftone dots, knocked slightly out of register, roughened with grain, and multiplied onto paper, the way a risograph prints
• change the seed and the same lighthouse comes back with a different tremor, grain and registration slip
• built with claude code, rendering contact sheets of frames and fixing what looked wrong until the print felt real
